DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth City Council has extended the Lake Superior Zoo’s line of credit to October of 2021.
Like other attractions in Duluth, the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted operations and revenue at the Zoo making it impossible to make payments on the 300,000 dollar promissory note.
The extension was made to give the Zoo time to recover from the financial impact of the pandemic and resume their payment obligations.
City Council President Gary Anderson talked about the line of credit extension on the KDAL Morning Show Tuesday.
