ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Minnesota fell from 8.6 percent in June to 7.7 percent in July.
According to figures released by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), the state added 32,500 jobs in July.
The national unemployment rate for the month was 10.2 percent.
The Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Statistical area (MSA) showed the over-the-year growth rate at minus 9.3 percent. All five of the MSA’s in the state were down from July of 2019.
