DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth is celebrating the opening of a new state-of-the-art Emergency Department, Cardiac cath labs, ambulance garage, helicopter landing pad and parking ramp.
The 37.5 million dollar project began 17 months ago and triples the size of the Emergency Department.
The space is designed to create greater efficiencies , decrease patient wait times and ensures more privacy.
A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday at St. Luke’s Building “A”. The new facility opens to the public on Tuesday.
