DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Two men are hospitalized in Duluth following separate ATV crashes on Saturday.
A 53 year old Cambridge, Minnesota man was traveling northbound on the Pulkinen Road northwest of Babbitt when the ATV he was driving went off the road and hit a tree.
That accident was reported at 6:47 p-m on Friday and the man was listed in critical condition.
A 40 year old man from Two Harbors sustained life threatening injuries when he lost control of his ATV at a high rate of speed causing it to roll over.
He was ejected and was found lying on the pavement of the Pequaywan Lake Road road just before midnight on Friday night.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department says speed and alcohol were believed to be contributing factors in that crash.
