DULUTH, MN (CBS-3) – The Duluth Police Department responded to two reports of shots fired on Saturday night and in the early morning hours on Sunday.
The first incident occurred at 8:15 P.M. on Saturday in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth between the 2400 Block and 2600 Block of West 1st Street.
Officers were called to the scene on the report of multiple shots fired.
When they arrived,, officers learned the shooting was between two moving vehicles, and they were able to find evidence that was consistent with that report.
Suspects have not been located, and no injuries have been reported.
The second incident happened at the 20 Block of West 11th Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired just after 4:30 A.M. on Sunday.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned there were sounds of multiple shots before several vehicles fled.
Evidence was found on the scene that is constant with this report.
The area was canvassed, and no suspects have been located.
No injuries have been reported in relation to this incident.
The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating both cases.
