GRAND LAKE TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a three vehicle crash on Highway 53 in Grand Lake Township Monday evening.
The crash has left four people with life threatening injuries and two others with non life threatening injuries.
The incident involved three northbound vehicles, the first vehicle in the chain reaction crash hit a deer and was then hit by another vehicle when the first had stopped.
While two pedestrians were checking on the occupants, another vehicle hit the first vehicle which struck the pedestrians.
The highway was shut down at the Caribou Lake Road for a time following the 5:10 p-m crash.
