ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – Another monthly drop in the unemployment rate was reported in November by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
The November rate was 4.4 percent, down from the 4.6 percent rate in October.
The national unemployment rate of 6.7 percent in November was also down from the previous month.
Employment numbers in the Metropolitan Statistical Area of Duluth-Superior was down 8.8 percent from November of last year.
The biggest job losses were in the Leisure and Hospitality sector, Financial Activities had the biggest gains and Mining and Logging held steady during the month.
