DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be closing the southbound lanes of I-35 in Duluth overnight on Thursday.
Southbound I-35 will close near 14th Avenue East for the installation of a temporary overhead sign to inform motorists about the Twin Ports Interchange Project.
The closure will begin at 9 p-m Thursday and reopen to traffic at about 5 a-m on Friday.
The closure was originally scheduled for April 2nd but was put on hold because of a fabrication issue.
The detour will be 26th Avenue East to London Road and Superior Street to Lake Avenue.
