DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A 40 year old man was arrested this week by Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
Anthony Weston was wanted on several charges including felony domestic assault and terroristic threats.
He was taken into custody Monday in the 700 block of West 3rd Street.
Following Weston’s arrest, a search of his vehicle resulted in the seizure of 16 grams of fentanyl.
He is now in the St. Louis County Jail facing new drug charges in addition to the original charges out of Carlton County.
Weston has previous robbery convictions and is on a pre-trial release for separate firearms and heroin charges.
Lt. Jeff Kazel from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force says information from Cloquet Police was crucial in making the arrest.
