DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Issues with a brake not releasing properly has resulted in the Minnesota Slip pedestrian bridge being pinned in the up position.
The bridge was closed to pedestrians Sunday and crews will be working Monday to resolve the problem.
Until repairs are complete, pedestrians will need to take the long way around the Irvin from the DECC to Canal Park.
The City of Duluth apologizes for the inconvenience.
UPDATE: The slip bridge resumed normal operations on Monday afternoon.
