DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Duluth Police are investigating a crash on Highway 61 near Congdon Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
A 30 year old male from Shakopee was southbound at a high rate of speed when his vehicle left the road and collided with railroad lights and a guardrail.
The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not thought to be life threatening.
Police say speed and driver impairment were contributing factors in the crash that occurred around 6 a-m.
