ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Unemployment rate for December dropped to 3.1 percent, the lowest level since 2019.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) says the labor force participation rate remained steady at 67.7 percent.
The U-S unemployment rate for the month was 3.9 percent and in Wisconsin the December rate dropped to 2.8 percent.
In the Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Statistical Area, the over the year employment change was up 4.9 percent.
