DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A weekend of races wrapped up with the full Grandma’s Marathon on Saturday.
The current Grandma’s course record holder, Dominic Ondoro, won the race in a time of 2:09:34, just seconds behind the record he set in 2014.
The top women’s finisher was Dakotah Lindwurm who won her second Grandma’s Marathon with a time of 2:25:01, just seconds behind the course record.
Daniel Kemboi finished first in the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and Rosie Edwards topped the women finishers.
Friday evening’s William A. Irvin 5K saw some record times.
The men’s winner was Jesse Chettle at 14:52 and was the first to break the 15 minute mark in race history.
The women’s winner was Nikki Long with a record time of 16:15.
There were 2,016 finishers in the 5K, 7,004 in the half marathon and 5,952 finishers in the full marathon.
