August Was Good For Twin Ports Shipping

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – August was the best month for total tonnage through the Twin Ports since July of 2021.

The Port of Duluth-Superior saw more than 4 million tons of cargo for the month. It brings the season total to date past 16.6 million tons.

There were 94 vessel arrivals in August, the most in a single month since August of 2019.

Executive Director of the Seaway Port Authority, Deb DeLuca says they hope the late season rally continues through the fall and early winter.
