DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Special programs this weekend will help to mark the 50th anniversary of the Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve in Duluth.
The fall raptor migration is well underway with 131 different species of birds and over 128 thousand counted so far.
Peak migration at Hawk Ridge occurs from mid September through October.
Various anniversary programs are being held at Hawk Ridge Friday through Sunday from 9 a-m to 4 p-m.
