KALAMAZOO, Mich. — After a weird, wild, crazy UMD win on Friday, the Bulldogs will try for their first NCHC sweep of the season here against a Western Michigan team that will surely be ready to go.
Before last Saturday’s game with Omaha, UMD coach Scott Sandelin talked about the killer instinct he expected to see from the Mavericks. Omaha indeed would dominate the early going of that game, but Ben Steeves potted a rebound during UMD’s first offensive chance of the game to change the tide of the competition.
Goals change games, they say.
Looking for continued signs of progress from the Bulldogs. Only lineup change is Luke Johnson slotting in on the fourth line for Luke Mylymok.
