DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Duluth firefighters were called to a home in the 3200 block of Greysolon Place in the Congdon Park neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.
They arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the home and found fire on the back deck that was extending up the walls.
There was nobody home at the time of the fire but a neighbor alerted crews that were two dogs in the house. The dogs were found and safely removed.
Initial damage estimates were set at 13 thousand dollars and the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
