COOK, MN (KDAL) – First responders were sent to the scene of a single vehicle crash Monday in the 3400 block of Vermilion Drive north of Cook.
They found a pickup truck that had left the road and went down an embankment into a tree.
The driver and only occupant, a 60 year old woman from Rosemount, was trapped inside the vehicle.
She was extracted from the wreckage and, after initial treatment from EMS personnel, was airlifted to a Duluth hospital with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department.
