DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Superior National Forest is proposing a fee increase at several of its campgrounds.
A public comment period on the proposals will be held until September 12th. Comments are taken online and at the Supervisor’s office in Duluth.
Over 90 percent of recreation sites in the National Forest are managed without fees but 8 campgrounds and one cabin are rented for fees where increases are proposed.
Most of the revenue generated is used to operate, maintain and improve the facilities. Get more information at the website: fs.usda.gov/superior
