DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The official high temperature in Duluth was 82 degrees on Tuesday. That broke the long standing record high for the date of 77 that was set last in 1913.
The normal high temperature at this time of year in Duluth is 59 degrees.
Record high temps were common over the last several days across the Midwest as readings in the 80’s spread over the region.
The National Weather Service Office in Duluth says the heat wave is ending as temps will fall through the 60’s Wednesday, top out in the 50’s Thursday and only the upper 40’s on Friday.
The cool weather continues into the weekend with a chance of frost Saturday night and Sunday morning.
