Smoker Fire At Carlton Meat Store

CARLTON, MN (KDAL) – The Carlton Fire Department along with the Esko and Wrenshall Fire Departments responded to a fire at the Carlton Meat and Grocery Store on Monday.

A smoker in the attic of the building at 500 3rd Street in Carlton was on fire and firefighters were able to quickly contain and extinguish the small blaze.

The business owner was on the scene when the fire started and called 911.

There were no injuries and a damage estimate was not given.
