ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – New figures from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development shows the unemployment rate at 3.2 percent in October, a tenth of a percent higher than September.
It compares to a national rate of 3.9 percent.
The state gained about 7 thousand jobs during the month which outpaced national job growth.
Minnesota has added jobs in nine of the last 12 months.
The biggest gains were in education and health services followed by professional and business services.
