DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The U-S Marshals Service and law enforcement agencies across the region arrested ten wanted fugitives in an operation this week in the Twin Ports area.
All of those arrested had outstanding federal or state warrants ranging from felony assault to drug and firearms related crimes.
The arrests also yielded several handguns and drugs including fentanyl pills, methamphetamine and cocaine.
A male juvenile was also taken into custody on probable cause for unlawful carrying of a firearm and 1st degree controlled substance sales.
The agencies involved in the arrests were the U-S Marshals North Star Fugitive Task Force, the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force, Pine County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security, Duluth Police Department, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Arrowhead Regional Corrections.
