OMAHA, Neb. — Gorgeous day in Omaha, temps in the 50s and bright sunshine.
It’s February 2.
The blizzard we hit in North Dakota is going to be epic. I’m fully aware of this, and I’m going to enjoy what we have now.
Anyway, hockey time. And good news for UMD.
Centers Matthew Perkins and Carter Loney are back. Loney will play wing in his return after a two week injury absence, but Perkins slots back into the middle. UMD will keep Luke Loheit in the middle with Quinn Olson and Ben Steeves, so Perkins will play with familiar veterans Connor McMenamin and Blake Biondi on the second line.
Zach Stejskal vs Simon Latkoczy.
