DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – In the last quarter of 2023, the Northland Foundation awarded 1,962,509 dollars in grants to benefit people and programs across northeast Minnesota.
Many of the awards were through the Foundation’s Integrated Rural Community Aging Program which provides resources to targeted rural sites and Tribal Nations to help provide quality care for older adults.
There were also over two dozen grants to help increase the availability of licensed child care in the region in collaboration with the City of Duluth, St. Louis County and the state of Minnesota.
