UNDATED (KDAL) – Separate crashes in St. Louis County Tuesday afternoon left one person dead and another critically injured.
Around 2:30 p-m, a southbound Chevy Cobalt on Highway 53 north of Orr crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound semi truck.
The driver of the Chevy, a 30 year old man from Clearbrook, Minnesota, was killed in the crash. The semi driver was not injured.
The State Patrol has identified the victim as Joshua Clyde Roudebush.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash at 2:45 p-m in the 6400 block of Highway 21 in Pike Township.
22 year old Emily Schnacky from Babbitt was eastbound when her vehicle left the roadway and rolled over in the westbound ditch.
She was airlifted to Essentia-St. Mary’s in Duluth in critical condition.
