DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota March Food Share campaign has been extended to include the last few days of February and continues through April 6th.
Donations of food and money to food shelves around the state during this period is proportionally matched by the food share program.
One of the food shelves in this area asking for help during this food drive is the Duluth Salvation Army.
The food shelf at the Salvation Army is seeing three times as many clients than at the same period a year ago and needs help to keep the shelves stocked to meet that growing need.
Monetary gifts are preferred since they are able to get the most in-demand items and their buying power makes each dollar go three times further than if you purchased them.
Mail your donations or go to the Salvation Army at 215 South 27th Avenue West in Duluth or by credit card at 218-722-7934 and at DuluthSA.org
