DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, area high school students will be able to explore hands-on opportunities for building and trades careers at the “Construct Tomorrow” event at the DECC in Duluth.
Students can wire circuits, trowel cement, set tile and more as they move through a series of stations staffed by representatives of local union apprenticeship programs in the construction field. From 9 a-m to 3:30 p-m each day.
There will also be a community event open to the public from 4:30 to 6:30 p-m on Tuesday for those interested in a building and construction trade career.
Those attending can meet with union representatives and contractors who are hiring.
Parking at the DECC will be free for those attending the Construction Career Night.
