SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The 31st anniversary of one of the largest food drives in America happens on Saturday.
The National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger event collects non perishable food from mail customers to donate to local food shelves.
This year letter carriers in Superior will collect donations left at mailboxes throughout the city and Duluth residents can drop off donations at the Duluth Labor Temple at 2002 London Road through June 13th.
Over the last 30 years, the letter carrier food drive has brought in over 1.9 billion pounds of food to replenish stocks at food shelves nationwide.
