(Reuters) – Airline company Grupo Aeroméxico SAB de CV has filed for an initial public offering in the United States, it said in a filing with the U.S. securities regulator on Monday.
The company is among many foreign firms that have flocked towards U.S. bourses in recent months as they seek to tap into the broader pool of capital and the richer valuations that American markets offer.
Grupo Aeroméxico plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “AERO”.
Barclays Capital, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Securities and Evercore Group are the lead underwriters for the offering.
