UNDATED (KDAL) – The Twin Ports 4th of July celebrations begin with the annual parade in Superior at 11 a-m.
The parade begins at Mortorelli Drive and marches down Belknap Street to Ogden and North 12th Streets.
A classic car and motorcycle show will be held on Tower Avenue from Belknap to Broadway Streets starting at 1 p-m.
Festivities at Barkers Island begin at 4 p-m and will feature live music, food and beverage vendors and wrap up with fireworks starting around 10 p-m.
In Duluth, Fourth Fest gets underway at Bayfront Festival Park at 4 p-m and features a wide variety of concessions, vendors and live music throughout the evening.
What they call the most spectacular fireworks display in the mid west begins over the harbor at 10:10 p-m and is expected to last from 20 to 25 minutes.
At the end of the fireworks, motorists should expect long delays and watch for Police Officers who will be directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
A reminder that Harbor Drive, behind the DECC, is closed and pedestrians are not allowed in the construction area.
The Aerial Lift Bridge will remain in the down position from 7 p-m to 1 a-m and the Minnesota Pedestrian Slip Bridge will be in the down position from 8 to 11:30 p-m.
