EVELETH, MN (KDAL) – The Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board reviewed a plan to provide up to 2.5 million dollars for the City of Cook businesses that were impacted by June flooding.
Floodwaters reached as high as five feet and caused extensive damage in the downtown Cook area following heavy rains on June 18th.
Grants and loans will be available from the fund so that small business owners can begin rebuilding and reopen.
To be eligible for the City of Cook Economic Recovery Fund, a business must demonstrate the need for financial support and intend to reopen in the city.
