DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Due to escalating public health and safety concerns, the City of Duluth’s Life Safety Team has given notice to those camping in the Priley Circle to remove their belongings and vacate the area.
The Life Safety Team will coordinated with Community Outreach programs to assist people during the transition from the encampment.
According to a release from the Duluth Police, the notices are consistent with city code provisions and past practice.
On Monday night the Duluth City Council passed an ordinance that expands a ban on outdoor camping on city property.
