Three migrants dead, five rescued off Samos island in Greece, says Greek state TV

ATHENS (Reuters) – Greek state television said on Monday that three migrants were dead and five were rescued off the island of Samos in Greece.

More were believed to be missing, Greek state TV added.

A search and rescue operation by four coastguard vessels and a helicopter was ongoing off the rocky shores of Agios Isidoros, in the northwestern part of the island, the coastguard said.
