DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Superior National Forest is extending the free wood permits from storm damage that occurred in 2023.
The permits are for select areas of the Laurentian and Kawishiwi Ranger Districts and will now be extended through September of next year.
The free permits for up to four cords of wood are for personal use only and cannot be sold or exchanged.
