CENTRAL LAKES, MN (KDAL) – Following several hours of searching by St. Louis County Sheriff deputies, the rescue squad and Minnesota State Patrol, a lost hunter was found cold but uninjured on Tuesday night.
The 77 year old man from Eveleth was reported missing around 6 p-m by family members when he didn’t return home after leaving at 9 a-m to go bird hunting.
The hunter was found near the Anchor Lake Rest Stop in the Central Lakes area between Cotton and Eveleth at about 9:30 p-m.
The search included State Patrol aircraft and drones from the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.
