DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Duluth fire crews responded to an early Wednesday morning fire at an eight-plex multifamily residential structure in the 1600 block of East 3rd Street.
Damage was limited to two of the eight units and was estimated at 25 thousand dollars.
All of the tenants were able to safely evacuate the building and firefighters rescued two cats and a dog from the apartment of origin.
One displaced tenant is being assisted by neighbors and the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Duluth Fire Marshal’s Office, but officials say it does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
